About Tower Development, Inc.



Tower is now one of the largest and most respected development firms in Hawaii. The name “Tower” is premised on growing buildings and relationships. The firm arose out of childhood best friends, Ed “Z” Bushor (CEO, Tower Development Inc.) and Aaron Molinar (CEO of Tower Construction Hawaii, Inc,.). While growing up in a low income apartment projects, they shared strategies to win on the athletic fields, and now, on the real estate canvas. They began purchasing and renovating apartment projects in 1996 at the same time, Stuart Miller (President, Tower Development, Inc.) also joined the team. Thus, the three principals of the company have been together over 24 years and 22 years in Hawaii. After purchasing and renovating a commercial and residential portfolio in excess of 3M square feet across the nation, including over 1000 multi-family units, Tower now focuses their investment activities in Hawaii. Today, they vigorously analyze repositioning and investment strategies with the confidence of friendship and trust in their unique disciplines, which now transcends into the 3rd decade together. Tower also is community centered and provides pro-bono real estate advisory work for churches and schools in need, which benefits our next generation of children. Our mission is to maximize investment results by redeveloping value-add and distressed assets and implement our business with “aloha.”



Tower has an in-house Hawaii-based real estate investment team but entails a national team experience. Focused solely on Hawaii investments, Tower includes 3 primary partners: Mr. Bushor (Development & Investment), Mr. Miller (Asset & Construction Management) and Mr. Molinar (General Contractor). Collectively, they have focused their value-add team in Hawaii for 22 years, since first acquiring Airport Center Office Tower in Honolulu in 1998.



Tower Development Inc. is the commercial development arm of Tower’s affiliate companies. Tower Development Residential is the residential development branch. The principals, Stuart and Ed (aka “Z locally in Hawaii) have a combined 24 years working together on over 3,000,000 square feet of distressed and value-add commercial and residential projects located throughout the U.S. (from Washington D.C. to Hawaii). Today, they reside in Hawaii and Tower’s focus is dedicated to applying its team expertise in a single market--Hawaii. Since 1998, Ed and Stu ventured on numerous Hawaii value-add investments totaling over $600M including the following sample projects:
